The beloved Oriental Theater, located 2230 North Farwell Avenue in the Milwaukee's Upper East Side is now operated by Milwaukee Film, the organization who presents the Annual Milwaukee Film Festival. The movie palace reopened on August 10 following ladies bathroom expansion and projection and sound installation.
Boots Riley's Sorry To Bother You debuts. Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman and Desiree Akhaven's The Miseducation of Cameron Post continues for another week.
Craft Cinema offers classic, local, and cult films and mini film festivals. Harley Davidson is celebrating its 115th Anniversary during this Labor Day Weekend. Lotfy Nathan's 12 O' Clock Boys, Don Sharp's Psychomania (The Death Wheelers) in 35mm, Laslo Benedek The Wild One, and Mark MacInnis' Sugar and Spade is part of the Milwaukee Motorcycle Film Festival, which runs tomorrow and Saturday.
